I’ve been very lucky to be shown round the new splash pool at Hilsea Lido by Lee Hunt, the Lib Dem councillor in charge of leisure and culture in the city.  And it looks great!  Kids are going to absolutely love playing there in the summer!

Work on the splash pool is just about finished – I saw workers laying the last few slabs and tiles round the edge of the site.  And it’s been confirmed that it will be opening in early June.

It’s going to be a brilliant and, I’m sure, well loved local facility.
