The annual budget meeting is the most important city council meeting of the year – it’s where all the council’s spending priorities for the year are decided.

It’s really disappointing therefore to discover that one of the area’s conservative councillors wasn’t at this year’s budget meeting (held last month) to stand up for Hilsea (that councillor also happens to be the conservative spokesperson for finance on the council).
