Work at the new splash pool at Hilsea Lido is set to be finished at the end of this month – this means that it will definitely be open for this summer!

And, even better, the Council are looking at whether the splash pool can be opened for the Easter holidays!

I’ve also been told that a new ground-level toilet block is going to be installed with disabled access, replacing the old underground toilets.

Top marks to our Lib Dem-run council for making this investment.

I can’t wait to see the new splash pool – it’s going to be a great new facility in the area and I’m sure kids are going to love it!

I’m just hoping we have a nice, sunny Easter and summer to enjoy it!
