It’s just been announced that the vital vascular surgeons based at our local hospital are staying! 

There had been plans to move the surgeons, who perform life-saving surgery on blood vessels, from Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra Hospital to Southampton.  But our local campaign to keep the surgeons in Portsmouth has been successful – this morning it was announced that the plans have dropped.

This is excellent news and thank you so much to everyone who supported the campaign and signed our petition!  Without your support, we couldn’t have kept this vital service at our local hospital.
